    Territory Manager

    Position Overview

    The Territory Manager is responsible for the success of Autodesk’s business growth and expansion in the African continent, while overseeing all aspects of the business. The Territory Manager will need to be highly driven, with the ability to build a business from the ground up.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a country wide plan and vision, in line with the organization’s strategy, that delivers transformational value to our customers and partners
    • Develop, lead, manage and orchestrate the Autodesk business, customers and partners in-country to drive expansion and growth
    • Sales management and forecast accuracy - deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
    • Build and strengthen the Autodesk brand and awareness in Country, representing all functions of the company
    • Autodesk Ambassador - speak and represent Autodesk at events and conferences
    • Establish and sustain long-term strategic relationships across the entire ecosystem (Customers, Partners, Government, Competitors, Interest/Focus Groups)
    • Develop government relationships with the key stakeholders to influence and drive country initiatives
    • Collaborate with other internal functions (not reporting into this job), to ensure successful execution of strategic sales and marketing programs
    • Provide insight to internal organizations on market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities
       

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience in similar sales management roles with people management responsibilities
    • Engineering Bachelor’s degree from recognized institute and/or MBA an advantage
    • Fluent English language skills
    • Self-starter and highly motivated
    • Organisational change management experience
    • Well organized and driven by success
    • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
    • Gravitas to build, sustain and influence relationships at C-level
    • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in the Architecture, Infrastructure, and Construction field is preferred
    • Willingness to travel
