Territory Sales Representative at Corteva Agriscience

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for marketing and sales of our wide spectrum of crops and pasture, building relationships with key players in the grain industry as well as our dynamic South African farmers and work in close partnership with leading companies in the industry

Your Challenge:

• You must be able to work independently and be highly motivated
• You must have exceptional communication skills and people knowledge 
• You must be disciplined and have a drive to reach targets under challenging conditions
• You must have a good knowledge of Agriculture and cultivation of cash crops and Pastures 
• You must be a team player
• Previous experience in crop protection and related business will be an asset
• Previous experience in sales and row and permanent tree crops will be an asset
• Sound understanding of agricultural farming systems
• Good communication and relationship development skills
• Desire to be developed, to progress your career
• Frequent travel within the region

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

• You will mostly be working with our clients on a daily basis but will also work closely with partners in Agriculture like financial institutions, co-operations and from time-to-time our Government officials  

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need 

• To be computer literate
• To have good communication skills. 
• A valid South African driver’s license
• To physically work on fields when trials are planted, evaluated or harvested
• A diploma/degree in Agriculture 
• At least 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales or Agriculture related business
• Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Science or similar will be an advantage
