They are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. You will perform testing activities for the implementation of successful business solutions, functional testing, system enhancements, new applications testing, defect fixes and fixes for incidents.

You will also verify and validate that the intended solution meets stated requirements, expected outcomes and specifications that guided the design and development.

To apply for this amazing opportunity, you need to have Grade 12 and formal Software Testing training (ISTQB, ISEB, etc.). You need to have 4-6 years’ manual testing experience combined with 2-3 years’ SQL experience and 2-3 years’ testing experience within a retail environment.

Your 4-6 years’ testing experience must cover the following aspects:

• Functional testing;
• System testing;
• End-to-end scenario testing;
• Integration testing
• Regression testing;
• Preparing testing documents and performing internal testing;
• Preparing data templates for various objects;
• Go-live preparation and post Go-live support;
• Troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support;
• Executing the required changes through configuration; and,
• Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls.

Lastly, you need to have a commitment to quality, a thorough approach to work delivery and knowledge of structured test methods and processes.
