Tracking Assistant North West - Bapong at Unitrans

Job Advert Summary    

• An opportunity has arisen for a Tracking Assistant at our Bapotrans Depot - North West - Bapong, to handle the control room operations functions -  Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

Minimum Requirements    

•  Matric,
• At least 3 years experience in vehicle tracking,
• Own Transport would be an advantage,
• Clear criminal record a must,
• Must have computer skills - word, excel, outlook, powerpoint,
• Strong administration/planning organisational and time management skills,
• Must have excellent verbal and writing skills - English,
• Practical minded to solve problems, 
• Be able to work shifts and on weekends

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Handling full control room operations,
• Tracking and monitoring of company fleet using CAMS,
• Ensuring that vehicle camera units function correctly at all times and testing and reporting of faulty units,
• Achieving companies goals and objectives through efficiency and being cost effective,
• Ensuring all administration functions are in place in accordance with company standards,
• Drive objectives for the control rooms day-to-day activities,
• Ensure that there is constant communication between the control room operators drivers, managers and supervisors
