Trade Centre Analyst at SGS

Job Description

SGS is recruiting for a Trade Centre Analyst to assist our clients to acquire Certificates of Conformity for their goods being exported to various countries. If you understand international trade, have worked with corporate customers and enjoy building relationships with clients, you may be the right candidate for SGS.

We require a minimum experience in customer solutions, have a service orientated personality with a high level of attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills. Willingness to learn is essential and SGS will provide industry specific training.

If you have a solid import/export background it will be to your benefit. You also need to be able to convert regulatory information into understandable everyday language for the benefit of our customers.

Specific Responsibilities 

• Pro-actively service orientated person who can assist the customer in obtaining a Certificate of Conformity for exports
• Oversee a portfolio of clients and look after their export needs
• Build and service relationships with the client that needs to be maintained.
• Understand the certification of goods for export purposes and have a history of call centre- and/or sales positions where clients are
• Guide the client on the sales process on various platforms.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant University Degree or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in international trade (import/export), with a successful track record
• Proficient in MS Office, especially with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel programs
