Clover is looking for an experienced Trade Marketer: Export to join the Commercial team. The successful individual will act as the link between Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and a focused approach on all projects and business initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Plan and execute the marketing strategy for export countries        
• Coordinate with country agencies to execute the marketing strategy        
• Assist with the budget and planning of communication activities (Above the Line - ATL & Below the Line - BTL)        
• Assist in the development of the marketing plans for each country        
• Monitor execution against plan (campaign monitoring, results and reporting
• Liaise with external suppliers for each of the activities (source suppliers in SA and in country)        
• Assist with the preparation launch plan for new countries        

Assist with the brand promotional strategy        

• Evaluate and measure past promotions to determine effectiveness for both brand and pack size offerings        
• Understand promotional uplifts and ROI models        
• Use learnings to determine promotional price points and frequency of promotions        

Support the export commercial plan        

• Translate Marketing and brand plans into an actionable commercial plan
• Assist in developing the in-store execution strategy against the commercial plan        
• Assist in developing the commercial calendar and brand priority grid        
• Track and measure execution against plan
