Job Description

• To cater for the immediate needs of the traders and the client trade deals, by tracking, monitoring and reviewing the reports that deliver insights of trading transaction management and enables resolving a high percentage of issues timeously with the respective internal fulfilment and operations teams and liaising with specialist groups within the business and technology to ensure fast resolution of issues that require additional coordination to resolve.

Are you someone who can:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of an equity derivatives trading business with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail?
• Make use of strong analytical skills to interpret financial and operational data and translate it into actionable business insights?
• Collaborate effectively across trading, operations and technology teams to deliver business objectives?
• Drive process optimisation, automation and control enhancements to improve business performance and scalability?
• Deliver a high standard of client service while contributing to the growth, efficiency and profitability of the Equity Swaps franchise?

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Mathematics and/or a relevant Commerce discipline
• Advantageous: Registered persons JSE Exams, Technology and/or Data Analytics skills
• Have 1 to 4 years of experience and exposure to Global Markets, Market Risk or related Financial functions would be beneficial. Quick learner, especially on trading platforms and other tools; strong analytical skills. Basic coding and report building would be beneficial.
