Woolpert is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full-time Trainee Geospatial Editors based in our Bryanston office on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and project needs.
We are committed to developing young talent by providing hands-on experience with cutting-edge geospatial technologies in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in editing and processing geospatial data and maps.
Support the organization and curation of aerial imagery and spatial datasets.
Interpret and edit geospatial information using internal tools and software.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with experienced technicians and contribute to team productivity.
Follow quality control procedures and project workflows.
Meet assigned deadlines and contribute to project goals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A National Diploma (completed or partially completed/dropped out) in GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related technical field is required.
An Esri qualification or certification would be an advantage.
