Training Specialist at DSV

The Training Specialist, under limited supervision, conducts and facilitates all training operations, technical and soft skills. This person evaluates, designs, coordinates and delivers a comprehensive range of training and development programs to address business needs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Delivering group and individual training, covering a range of technical and/or operational areas in a specified field.
• Conduct training needs analysis for relevant Strategic Business Units
• Design, develop, update and maintain learning materials
• To deliver standard and customized training courses to our internal staff members
• To ensure that all training documentation are submitted on-time and accurately
• To provide adequate feedback on all Training Conducted
• To assist with the Training set-up
• Evaluating effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizing relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes
• Analyzing and Assessing training and development needs to individuals and Business Units
• Spend time in Operations to Support the branches
• Participate in people development activities in the branches

TERTIARY QUALIFICATION

• Education, Training and Development Practices (ETDP) Degree is an added advantage

• Willing to travel around Gauteng and South Africa
• Willing to work weekends and long hours when requested
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Technical Training and Development
