Job Description

• To lead a team of Transaction Managers who are responsible for coordinating the end-to-end transaction fulfilment process supporting Investment Banking Products, in conjunction with various stakeholders (both internal and external to the bank) with a specific focus on deal closing, facility origination, ongoing facility administration, collateral management and the effective and maximum use of the Bank’s various operating systems. managing the life cycle of a transaction

Are you someone who can:   

• Management and oversight of the team responsible for performing the day-to-day functions across the portfolio.
• Identifying opportunities to use technology to automate manual procedures and driving delivery thereof by managing the IT delivery process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability.
• Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialisation and identify risks.
• Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy.

You Will Be an Ideal Candidate If You Have:

• Relevant degree (BCom) Preferably Hons
• 5 to 8 years Investment Banking Experience
• Investment Banking, with in depth knowledge of Resources and Debt Financing
• Analytical, attention to detail, managing demanding stakeholders, able to build and upskill team members with the relevant industry knowledge.
