Transport Clerk at RCL Foods

We are on the lookout for a passionate Transport Clerk. The role will be based in Bushbuckridge and report to the Transport Manager. The main purpose of the role is Workshop administration, The candidate will be responsible for supporting the workshop department with all admin related duties in the management of the vehicle fleet.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 (Matric) with mathematics
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a FMCG and/or transport environment
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Keep Pro-fleet (tyre) and Freeway (Feet Management Systems) up to date
• Daily/monthly completion of fuel reconciliation
• Order and receive diesel deliveries
• Ordering of stock
• Assist with stock control and stock taking
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times in and around the working area.
• Adhere to internal departmental performance requirements, targets and quality standards as determined by management
• Responsible for costing of job cards and services
• Investigation of accidents and incidents
• General office administration
• Vehicle Licensing & COF (Roadworthy)
• Grn monitoring system maintained
• Invoices are Captured/Submitted weekly
• Waste Removal monitored
• Route analysis maintained and up date
