Transport Operations Co-ordinator - Johannesburg at Rand Water

Job Advert Summary    

• Rand Water is looking for candidate to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Heavy vehicle drivers, Construction plant operators, Driver Aids, Gang overseer and Steam cleaner in full compliance of Rand Water policies and procedures and to ensure an effective availability of vehicles and plant items as well as loyal and well motivated staff in order to ensure that our customer needs are met to their satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12.
• Code EC Driver's license.
• Certificate in Road Transport will be advantage.
• 2 years experience in a fleet environment.
• Basic Supervisory experience.

Knowledge    

• Relevant experience in a Transport Environment.
• Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act / Legislation and AARTO
• Working knowledge of SHEQ (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001)
• Mentoring and coaching to develop staff.

Skills    

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office package, Maximo & SAP)
• Communication skills (Verbal and Written).
