Triton Express: General Worker Receiving and Despatch at Plennegy Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capturing/distributing waybill and POD data
• Issuing agent waybill numbers, consignments, printing manifests and obtaining signatures
• Sorting consignments according to waybill instructions
• Preparing SAA Master Waybill
• Recording dimensions and weight into Freightware System
• Recording dimensions and weight onto the waybill
• Collecting of cash payment and releasing of goods
• General Housekeeping – as and when required
• Ensuring proper cargo handling according to the Companies standards is maintained at all times
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles at depot

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (Matric) minimum
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Ability to work overtime as and when required due to client’s needs and requirements of the company
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work unsociable hours
• Excellent listening skills
• Reliable & presentable at all times
• A high degree of integrity required
• Own transport to and from work
