NQF 6 - Bachelor's Degree in Applied Design (UI/UX design, Graphic design, Interaction Design) or relevant National Diploma or relevant College qualification
A portfolio of professional design work with examples of both desktop and mobile platforms is a must
Greater than 60 months experience, preferably in a technology or data management environment
Excellent understanding of UI/UX design principles and practice
Familiarity with design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, Figjam and Adobe suite (Illustrator, Adobe XD, Photoshop, InDesign)
Excellent understanding of HTML5, JAVA SCRIPT and CSS is advantageous
Excellent understanding of responsive design, including up to date with design trends
Excellent knowledge of web and mobile design best practices
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
Excellent understanding of branding, SaaS, data analytics, business analysis (coding advantageous)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Very strong attention to detail

Duties & Responsibilities
Implement user-centred design principles to optimize usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction
Conduct user research and develop personas, user stories, and user flows
Create wireframes, mock-ups, and high fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and cross-functional teams to develop solutions
Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations
Adhere and contribute towards the design system (documentation and component library)
Conduct usability audits to identify areas of improvement
Participate in the scrum process
Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed
