RubiBlue, a dynamic software development company that has been operation for over 16 years, is looking for a UI/UX Designer this will gather user requirements, design graphic elements and build navigation components to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients, to optimise improved usability, usefulness and an exceptional visual experience.
Qualifications needed:
Relevant IT qualification would be an advantage
Relevant UI/UX-related qualification from an accredited institution
Knowledge & Skill required:
Proven UI/UX design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates a design thinking approach to solutions for Android, iOS, and web.
Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Exposure to an Agile environment would be beneficial.
Experience in the financial/insurance industry would be an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators:
Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
Design graphic UI elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
Manage the design and updates of the creative (banners) for social sites including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (i.e. responsiveness).
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.
To provide customer support through the prompt resolution and communication of technical issues.
