    UI/UX Specialist

    Role Purpose    
    Responsible to provide User Experience and User Interface design direction to a multi-disciplinary team of specialists who are committed to designing the future of Momentum's loyalty and rewards experience and delivering unique and innovative digital solutions. This role requires solid experience with user experience, usability, user interface design.

    Requirements    

    Qualifications

    • Matric (essential).
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (essential).
    • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or similar certification would be desirable.
    • Visual Design qualification is an advantage.
    • Portfolio of recent work.

    Experience

    • 2-4 years UX/UI experience.
    • Ecommerce, retail and rewards experience as an advantage.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure the best possible user experience for the momentum digital channels.
    • Responsible for the User Experience and User Interface design of the Momentum loyally product across all the digital platforms.
    • Follow a User Centred Design approach to execute on new business requirements.
    • Responsible for building, maintaining the design standards as well as contributing towards the overall Momentum design system.
    • Conduct user research such as usability testing and competitor reviews.
    • Incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, digital analytics, site metrics, and usability findings into designs.
    • Wireframes and prototyping of user interfaces.
    • Responsible for building, maintaining the design standards as well as contributing towards the overall Momentum design system.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Work in a collaborative team and work directly with developers for implementation of designs.
    • Identify and troubleshoot UX and UI problems.
