VAS Project Coordinator at Boxer Superstores

• We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented VAS Project Coordinator to support the growth and optimisation of Value Added Services (VAS) across our store network. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, coordinating projects, and identifying new opportunities to enhance service offerings and deliver added value to our customers and business.

Minimum Requirements    

• 2–3 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator role
• Diploma/Degree in Project Management or Financial Management

• Strong administrative and telephonic skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good mathematical and accounting skills
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Deadline-driven with good time management
• Reporting and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of building specifications and drawings
• IT knowledge
• Experience in supplier engagement

Duties and Responsibilities    
Key Responsibilities

New Stores

• Engage with suppliers
• Identify services to be implemented in new stores
• Collaborate with the Development Department to create required space and locations
• Liaise with Store Project Managers on site readiness plans
• Communicate progress on site readiness
• Advise the business on implementation timelines
• Ensure implementation dates are met and services are operational

Refurbishments

• Engage with suppliers
• Identify services to be implemented or relocated
• Work with Development Department on space planning
• Liaise with Store Project Managers on site readiness
• Request new or relocation of services (e.g., banking and financial institutions)
• Communicate progress and timelines
• Ensure successful implementation and operational readiness

IT Projects

• Compile BNB documents for business requests
• Develop QRC documents and user manuals
• Plan and manage rollout and implementation
• Drive customer awareness through marketing initiatives

Special Projects

• Manage ad hoc project requests
• Handle special requests from stores and suppliers
• Drive enhancements of existing products and services

Site Readiness

• Engage with Development Department
• Review store drawings and layouts
• Monitor and assess site readiness
• Provide feedback to service providers

GVS Cards

• Expand card nodes and service offerings

Operational Support

• Support VAS operations team with product knowledge
• Escalate issues and downtime to service providers
• Respond to Store Operations requests for new or additional services/devices

Executive Reporting

• Prepare monthly updates on new business projects
• Track and report on progress of current projects
• Compile reporting and data analysis
