Vendor Recon Supervisor at Anglo American

Job Description:
As part of the role of a Vendor Reconciliation Supervisor, some of your duties will include:

• Full responsibility on  authorising all journal entries from the reconciliation’s accountant
• Ensuring all correcting/adjusting journals entries are duly posted into the appropriate ledgers in a timely manner
• Reviewing deviations from KPIs and advise the Cash Management & Reconciliations coordinator
• Ensuring that the integrity of the general ledger is maintained through the completion of all reconciliations with special note on overdue items

Qualifications:

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification – with specialization in Financial Accounting

Experience :

• 4 years Financial reporting experience
• 2 years People management experience

Additional information:

• Member of a recognised accounting body e.g. SAIPA
• Experience working with SAP
• IFRS knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License
• Travelling as and when required
