    Inventory Specialist - Strategic Supplier Program

    Job Description:
    Purpose:

    • An analyst working as part of a team to identify and implement high-impact physical supply chain initiatives focused on working capital (inbound inventory) & supply chain cost reduction and performance improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work as an analyst in PSC project and strategic initiatives relating to the working capital reduction.
    • Standardized vendor-owned inventory (VOI) models including VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), consignment, in-company stores.
    • Excess reduction via supplier buy-back or supplier-driven market solutions.
    • Prioritizing supplier performance efforts, to reduce lead times and lead time variability.
    • Development and execution of Obsolete and Excess Disposal Strategy.
    • Review and assess current MRP levels and suggestion to MRP levels at supplier stores.
    • Implementation of an EDI (ERP Integration) and catalogues for management of VOI/VMI to ensure visibility and seamless transactions.
    • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers.
    • Collaboration with Category Management and BU teams on VOI/VMI strategy and execution.
    • Analyze the end-to-end inbound Supply Chain to identify opportunities for performance enhancement, working capital reduction and/or direct cost reduction.

    Qualifications:

    • A qualification in a Supply Chain discipline with specific reference to Physical Supply Chain.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Supply chain optimization in an operational and/or consulting role is essential.
    • Inventory management experience in an industry with a complex inventory profile, high-criticality items and rigorous policy requirements is essential.
    • Financial implications of supply chain activities on working capital is a distinct advantage.
    • Expertise in Category management within an inventory management environment.
    • Hands on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts.
    • Supplier performance and monitoring.

    Surface and Underground Auto Electrician

    Job Description:
    Below are some of the key responsibilities you will be required to perform as an Auto Electrician.

    • Prepare and plan work priority list and resource requirements in order to complete tasks and Inform the relevant Supervisor when work is being conducted in the area of responsibility

    • Passed Maintenance Modules on all Surface Earth moving equipment

    Vendor Recon Supervisor

    Job Description:
    As part of the role of a Vendor Reconciliation Supervisor, some of your duties will include:

    • Full responsibility on  authorising all journal entries from the reconciliation’s accountant
    • Ensuring all correcting/adjusting journals entries are duly posted into the appropriate ledgers in a timely manner
    • Reviewing deviations from KPIs and advise the Cash Management & Reconciliations coordinator
    • Ensuring that the integrity of the general ledger is maintained through the completion of all reconciliations with special note on overdue items

    Cash Management and Bank Recons Cordinator

    Job Description:
    As part of the role of a Cash Management and Reconciliation Coordinator, some of your duties will include:

    • Reviewing bank reconciliations to ensure that any irregularities are timeously identified and addressed in a timely manner

    Engineering Specialist Product

    Job Description:
    An excellent opportunity to join this team.  Some of your duties will include:

    • You will evaluate, monitor and provide feedback regarding performance efficiencies and risk management of the section
    • Installation, monitoring and commissioning of projects and allocated work

    General Miner (Production)

    Job Description:
    As the General Miner you will be required to contribute and assist the mining team with a variety of other tasks in the mining structure from moving men, material and ore to the construction areas.

    The focus for this role will be to:

    • Conducting inspections to ensure that the working areas are safe and that all the mining standards are adhered to.
    • Ensure that up to date operating standards and procedures are communicated, applied and understood by the team.
    • Manage explosives and prepare blasting area to standard to ensure safe effective blasting.
    • Monitor and correct the process regularly to ensure conformance to and understanding of standards.
    • Will execute any reasonable work instruction provided by any senior or team members to ensure the effective completion of a task or safe making of an area.

    This role is in the Mining Department at a C2 level reporting to the Shift Supervisor. 

    Qualifications:

    You will need the following:

    • Matric.
    • Blasting Certificate.
    • Passed area specific training modules for logistics role at a Crew Captain level in mining.

    You need to have the following experience:

    • Three years experience as an underground miner/ Crew Captain.
