Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene Superintendent
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Higher National Certificate , Matric
- Experience 5 years
- Location Northern Cape
- Job Field Safety and Environment / HSE
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and verify operational control that would ensure compliance to Fatal Risk Control Standards
- Managing staff
- Managing Mine Ventilation planning
- Conducting Workplace inspections
- Investigations to identify root causes withing business processes
- Developing systemic solutions to eliminate reoccurrence
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Mine Environmental Control Certificate
- National Diploma in Environmental Health
- 5 years ‘experience in managing Occupational Health and Hygiene Program and Ventilation of an underground mine
- 2 years supervisory experience and 12.1 Legal Appointee
- Extensive experience in an underground Trackless Mine
- Sound experience using VUMA and / or VENTSIM
