• Managing a busy appointment schedule, including bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups
• Handling a high volume of calls and emails with accuracy and courtesy
• Processing payments, invoicing, and maintaining financial records
• Maintaining and updating patient files and practice management systems
• Assisting with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and treatment plans
• Providing knowledgeable support and guidance to pet owners where appropriate
• Liaising effectively with veterinarians, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensuring the reception and waiting area remains clean, organised, and welcoming

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is essential
• A passion for animals and their well-being
• Excellent communication skills and a sparkling, friendly personality
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency
• Flexibility to work varying shifts
