Responsibilities

• Develop a close working relationship with the Marketing & Merchandise departments to ensure Visual Merchandise is aligned, developed and successfully implement according to the brand strategic intent. 
• Develop a close working relationship with the various levels of the Operations department.
• Develop and maintain regular VM communications which outline Sheet Street VM principles, standards and objectives which are aligned to the brand identity and strategy including core business processes. These include:
• Merchandising standards 
• Visual Merchandising guides
• Promotional activities
• Seasonal store flow guides
• Keep the Visual Merchandising requirements updated on the marketing calendar.
• Oversee the visual process of quotes, production lead times, logistics to store – OTIF.
• Manage and execute all in-store visual presentation by creating and maintaining compelling displays of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales.
• Manage the uploads, read, responses and reporting of Mr Price Empower application.
• Occasional travel requirements to our SA stores for visits and workshops.
• Manage and maintain signage distribution lists.
• Keep an updated record of store signage requirements across various currencies, store concepts and grades.
• Manage all new store/revamp stores signage requirements – generic, seasonal and launch pack signage.
• Produce the in-house artwork for ad-hoc signage.
• Manage signage inventory at stationery supplier .

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification - diploma/degree (Design, fashion, marketing)
• 3 Years’ experience in a visual merchandise role, preferably at head office level
• A thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office
• Creative, design background advantageous, a passion for homeware, design, retail display and merchandising is a serious advantage
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to liaise with multiple stakeholders
