    Visual Merchandiser: Projects (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description
    Purpose of the job 

    • To drive brand and sales objectives by using design skills to produce visual displays to promote products and services for new ranges and store concepts that are appealing to the PEP customer.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Responsible for the testing and produce visual merchandise ideas for special VM projects to implement in stores nationwide and store queries and requests
    • Designs new VM and store concepts aligned to Pep’s visual merchandising strategy
    • Create Visual Merchandising guidelines for VM Projects and ensure that they are made available in stores
    • Effectively integrates the creative design within the PEP visual merchandise framework
    • Manages VM aspects of CAPEX roll-out production process
    • Interact and integrate with multiple stakeholders within PEP (Planners, Buyers, Field Management, Marketing, etc)
    • Provides support to the visual merchandising team and Senior Sales Support Managers with cross-functional Projects
    • Enhance different functions of the VM role by researching industry standards

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Tertiary qualification in creative design (i.e. graphic design, interior design or fashion design)
    • 3-5 years’ work experience in the visual merchandising space
    • Proficient in the following InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe XI, Sketch Up Pro, CAD/Revit
    • Computer Literate (MS Office and Google Suite)
    • Drivers licence (willing to travel)
    • Ability to understand technical plans
    • Competencies required: High attention to detail, planning and organising, good presentation skills, team player, innovative, can work under pressure, can cope with periods of high stress and take initiative, driven, excellent communication and time management skills
