Waitron: Provincial Protected Areas Management (LEDET) at Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism

Key Performance Areas

• Setting up tables and ensuring that dining tables are clean and correctly arranged. Stock service station with condiments, menus, and glassware. Review daily specials and understand the menu to make recommendations to guests.
• Welcoming, greeting and seating guests. Accurately taking and relaying food and drink orders. Deliver orders promptly. Ensure exceptional dining experience.
• Checking on guests’ satisfaction. Processing payments. Clearing tables and cleaning dishes. Cleaning the dining area and restocking supplies. Cleaning dining facilities. Assist with meal preparations.

Prerequisites

• Grade 12 qualification as recognized by SAQA. Certificate in food and beverage management will be an added advantage. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in Food and Beverages will be an added advantage.
