Active maintenance of the Warehouse, warehouse functions, and all related aspects including safety, security, stock, equipment and effective interaction with management in order to ensure smooth, effective functioning of the stores.
Verify all stock received and dispatched In and out of the warehouse
Manage interplant and co loading stock to better serve customers
Stock control – effective daily, weekly and monthly stock counting and cycle
counting to ensure physical stock levels agree with electronic records at all times and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Apply FIFO system when picking stock (first in first out)
Ensuring that all plant equipment is safe to operate, and is properly maintained, logged and registers kept and reported. Ensure that production crew adheres to all Safety + Quality + WCM procedures.

The ideal candidate must have Matric, Tertiary qualification. Trade test will be an added advantage. 3 -5 years’ experience within experience in supply chain disciplines.
This role calls for a person who is good at communication and this will ensure success in this role.
