Warehouse Manager at Alstom

• The main purpose of this role is to ensure safe, reliable and available materials and equipment through the management of an effective and efficient stores function.

YOUR ROLE:

• Ensure the safety and quality assurance within the warehouse
• Effective self and team management
• MAXIMO / Baan / SAP administration
• Cost Control
• Ensure proper storage and management of materials, tools & equipment
• Strict adherence to policies and procedures
• Continuous improvement

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse / Materials Management Diploma
• 5 years experience in railway preferably Rolling stock and Wayside materials and components
• Advanced computer literacy (Maximo, SAP & Baan)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of stores/store keeping processes and procedures
• Knowledge of inventory/materials management
• Quality Management
