Warehouse Manager - Solar Industry - Diep River, Cape Town at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Implement and manage inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient stock movement.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Analyze operational data and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Matric certificate (Relevant diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous).
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices, inventory control, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
