Warehouse Operative - Feitoria at Nando's

Job Description    

• To operate all components of the pouch line to ensure quality standards are met and production targets are achieved. Also, to supervise pouch line and both sachet lines staff.           

Minimum Requirements    

•  Grade 12 
•  Basic literacy and numeracy 
•  Basic Food Hygiene and certificates an advantage 
•  Manual handling 

Duties and Responsibilities    
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 

•  All goods in / goods out work instructions are carried out correctly and efficiently.
•  All goods are stored neatly and correctly and proper stock rotation is carried out.
•  Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that they work within ‘safe systems of work’ including all types of mobile pallet moving equipment.
•  Ensure that all materials are handled and dealt with in accordance to the company's guidelines and specifications and are available to internal customers to meet production requirements on time and in full.
•  Ensure all materials are correctly labelled, stored, recorded and maintained.
•  Ensure SAP transactions are completed within the Company’s timeframes, with precision and accuracy.
•  Maintain Company operating procedures and work with the Quality Assurance team, completing appropriate QA documentation ensuring product quality and standards are adhered to.
•  Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.

EXPERIENCE 

•  To hold a recognised forklift certificate relevant to the Company’s requirements. 
•  To have a good work understanding of total quality, hygiene, and general housekeeping requirements. 

SELECTION CRITERIA

•  FLT and Ride On Licence essential.
•  Attention to detail is vital.
•  Good Verbal & Written Communicator.
•  Honest Approach.
•  Good Timekeeping and attendance.
•  PC literacy preferred.
