Warehouse Senior Supervisor at DHL

Main activities

• Manages and maintain inventory with monthly physical counts
• Execute on Operation Health and safety targets
• Ensure effective warehousing principles are applied by determining product handling and storage requirements, implementing, enforcing policies and procedures, developing and maintaining processes for receiving products, equipment utilization, inventory management, picking and product returns

Declare all export documentation to operations

• Manage load lists, receipts in accordance with companies rules and regulations
• Resolve conflict and support cooridnation of delivery schedules with shippers and suppliers
• Appropriate knowledge for sourcing and updating information
• Knowledge of Customs rules and regulations
• SAD500’s, export certificates, DA32’s, ZIB/ZRW, NOL’s
• Update and manage weekly file list onto the info sheet
• Adhere to Customs rules and regulations related to warehousing
• Knowledge of Plant and Quality rules and regulations related to shipping
• Prepared to work overtime

Systems

• Flow, Warehouse Management System, Axis, Salesforce, MSOffice

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 3 - 5 years experience in same or similar roles
• Tertiary Level Qualification in related discipline
• Freight Forwarding & Customs Compliance
