In this position you will join our Waste Management and Circular Economies Team to work on exciting projects that will challenge and enhance your current skillset. You will join our highly successful Sustainability team, to work on some of the industry’s leading projects.
The team’s primary role is to push the boundaries of innovation, incorporate sustainability in how we deliver solutions to our client. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our client’s sustainability objectives and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key activities you will do to enable these outcomes:
Minimum requirements
Degree/Diploma – Science/ Engineering/ Environmental or related field.
Minimum 8 years working experience (with 5 years in waste management).
Interest or experience in alternative disposal/ waste minimization/ circular economies
Professional registration or working towards registration an advantage (SACNASP or PrEng preferable).
Experience in landfill decommissioning, rehabilitation and closure, including financial provisioning for landfill infrastructure.
Working knowledge of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act.
Previous exposure to landfill design, including prefeasibility and feasibility investigations.
Willing to work with different teams and willing to learn new skills.
Highly articulated verbal and written communication skills including report writing and communicating technical concepts.
