    Wealth Management Support Consultant

    Minimum Requirements

    • BCom degree
    • CFP, or currently studying towards CFP would be ideal.
    • 2+ years' experience within Wealth Management, Financial Planning or Financial Advisory Support.
    • Practical exposure to Financial Needs Analysis (FNA).
    • Solid understanding of: 
    • Investment products
    • Fund management
    • Retirement funds
    • Life and risk products
    • Estate planning and estate duty principles
    • Wealth management concepts
    • Financial calculations and portfolio values
    • Previous experience supporting Financial Advisers or Wealth Managers - Advantages. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
    • Excellent communication skills (Ideally Afrikaans and English but not essential).
    • Strong Excel skills. 

    ROLE OVERVIEW: 

    • Our client, a leading provider of Wealth Management software, is looking for a Wealth Management Support Consultant to provide technical and functional support to Financial Advisers using their Wealth Management platform.
    • This is not a traditional IT support role. To be successful, you must have a solid understanding of the financial planning industry, including Financial Needs Analysis (FNA), investments, retirement planning, risk products and wealth management principles, enabling you to confidently assist advisers with system-related queries.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide telephonic and email support to Financial Advisers using the Elite Wealth Management software.
    • Investigate and resolve adviser queries relating to wealth planning functionality and calculations.
    • Assist advisers with Financial Needs Analysis (FNA), investment, retirement, risk and portfolio-related system queries.
    • Interpret financial planning information and assist users in understanding system outputs.
    • Troubleshoot software-related issues and liaise with internal technical teams where required.
    • Deliver professional, accurate and client-focused support.
    • Build strong relationships with financial advisers and wealth professionals.
    • Ensure queries are resolved efficiently while maintaining exceptional service levels.
