    Website Manager

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Secondary qualification (distinction in first language English)
    • Tertiary degree in Commerce, Marketing or relevant fields
    • Minimum of 2 years experience
    • A proven track record of delivering results, in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to manage time and work to tight deadlines
    • Proficient photoshop skills
    • Website management/development (Wix/Shopify/Wordpress)
    • SEO and Google Adwords experience
    • Versatile, resourceful and able to work on varied tasks simultaneously
    • Highly structured thinker with strong attention to detail
    • Highly analytical and able to use data to make decisions
    • Experience in working with large data sets and technical tools
    • Ability to verbalise and visualise outcomes and communicate trends in a clear, concise manner
    • ‘Finger on the pulse’ individual, aware and up-to-date with local and international brand and consumer trends
    • Proactive problem solver
    • Great written and verbal communication skills
    • Great organisation skills and attention to detail
    • Must be able to multitask (manage multiple creative briefs at one time)

    JOB SPECIFICATION:
    Your specific responsibilities will include:

    • Web development experience (Shopify/Wix) to create, manage and update e-commerce platform.
    • Create high-quality online product listings from supplied product specs and loading them on different online e-commerce platforms
    • Copywriting ability is required to ensure that all copy on all platforms is accurate, professional and attractive for readers
    • Proficient photoshop skill is required to improve product image files.
    • Use data, including the output of the relevant dashboards and reports, to identify the root cause of quality issues, (eg, slow sales due of negative customer product experience, product listing description problem, other listing media problems) and act on it by fixing the quality issues
    • Work with the Product Catalogue Manager to define the data structure for our catalogue information, as well as the key metrics that will be tracked to measure the quality of listings
    • Provide project management support to the Product Manager as required,
    • Provide support during the development phase of projects in terms of answering relevant queries,
    • Work on business specifications for reporting tools to monitor the quality of our product catalogue information, by collaborating closely with various teams
    • Make practical recommendations of both technical and non-technical projects that can be implemented to improve catalogue quality
    • Perform ongoing technical data analysis to identify the root cause of quality issues
    • Perform ad-hoc data analysis tasks
    • Translate the findings from analysis into technical specifications for the engineering and other relevant teams
    • We are in the consumer electronics space, so being tech-savvy is important.

    YOUR TEAM:

    • You will report directly to the Product Catalogue Manager
    • You will also work closely with platform engineering teams
