Weighbridge Clerk at Afrimat

Minimum Qualification / Experience

• Grade 12 certificate
• Must have sound knowledge & understanding of the mining environment
• Must have a good understanding of the legal aspects pertaining to a mine/quarry
• Basic financial skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate: Microsoft excel, word, outlook
• Good leadership skills
• Good administrative capabilities
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be safety conscious

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

• Data capturing and completion of various reports i.e. Diesel report, Yams,
• ASMS/Maintenance job cards
• Assist with dispatch operations
• Scheduling & verifying of loads according to orders
• Analyze the order & quantities required for each job
• Maintain the records of all order received, dispatched correctly; accurately ensure all delivery notes are signed, etc.
• Report any dispatch & related problems to the immediate superior immediately
• Any other reasonable & lawful work-related instruction & given to the employee by an authorized person
• Adhere to all SHE rules and regulations that are applicable on the site e.g. Induction Training
• Adhere to the Quality Assurance responsibility during the production process by constantly monitoring & evaluating that a computerized maintenance strategy is employed to ensure absolute reliability & minimum down time
