Workplace Experience Student: Sales & Distribution at Tiger Brands

• Crate control. Admin work. Counting of crates. Phoning clients for crates. Crate ordering.
• Admin work of workshop and fleet. Create POs for work to be done on vehicles.
• Manage vehicle defects –driver daily checklists,

Truck capacities and utilization

• Control and report on fuel consumption numbers
• Balance and recon FML accounts, invoices and provision
• Equestra month end report ie excess kilometers and approvals

Recon of rebills

• Update breakdowns and puncture control sheets
• Incident and accident reports
• Ordering and cancelling of toll and fuel cards
• Process and recon R&M invoices to statement
• Control use of pool vehicles

Transport budget

• Control and recon of 3rd party transport costs
• Ensure all drivers have valid driver's licenses 
• Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of Tiger Brands products within your portfolio, sales systems and procedures.
• Develop strong business relationships with store management to provide service and value beyond the customer's expectations.
• Perform in-store planning by tailoring programs and fact-based sales presentations to the customer's needs, store demographics, and the current consumer base.
• Work with customers to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support consumer take away
