We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our agricultural team
The Workshop Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the workshop ensuring that all equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and proven leadership skills to lead a team of technicians in the agricultural industry
Supervising and coordinating activities of workshop technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Inspecting diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment
Developing maintenance schedules and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
Ordering supplies and parts needed for repairs and maintenance
Training and mentoring technicians on the latest industry standards and safety procedures
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Keeping accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality workmanship
Proficiency in computer software for record keeping and scheduling

Grade 12 Technical
Mechanical Red Seal Trade Certificate
Computer Literacy MS Office
Minimum 3 years of Workshop supervising with management experience
Computer tools and systems experience Internal systems Business portals MS Dynamics and EST Tool experience Advantageous
Minimum 5 years Technical Experience Mechanic
Minimum 5 years experience Product Knowledge in Agriculture Mechanization equipment and implements
