World Class Operations Specialist at Huhtamaki

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead TPM projects and support HOD’s with TPM projects
• Training the team in TPM methodology and developing of training material for the team
• Project review/audit on weekly basis
• Delivery TPM savings target numbers
• Leading in cost deployment activities to identify project
• Support in daily TPM activities i.e., performance control system (PCS) Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Kaizen project and pillar implementation
• Support operations team on statistic
• Development of Enterprise Excellence Assessment Action Plan
• Collaborate with HR and top management in developing high performance culture
• Collaborate with stakeholders on monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing operation and business performance through dashboard
• Capturing all waste data and ensuring all mass balance variances are maintained below tolerance
• Initiate waste reduction initiatives, investigate variances and report on waste figures

Qualification and Experience:

• Grade 12/N3
• Bachelor’s Degree/B-tech in Industrial Engineering/similar
• Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
• Proficiency with TQM process evaluation techniques
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably FMCG manufacturing

Essential Knowledge:

• Food Safety
• Sound experience in TPM, WCM, and LEAN methodologies
• Proficiency with TQM process evaluation techniques
• Operation performance and participative management

Skills and Abilities:

• Business Intelligence Tools, Statistical tools and methodologies
• Data Analytics, comfortable working with numbers
