Datacentrix is looking for a Bid Manager with atleast 5+ years experience in bid or proposal management, business development, or a similar role. Familiarity with bid management tools and Microsoft Office suite. The applicants must possess the following competencies: Client and Stakeholder Management, Writing skills and project management.
The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing and facilitating the preparation of bids in order to acquire more business.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Matric \ Grade 12 (Compulsory)
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or any related field
APMP certification an advantage
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire bid process from the initial opportunity to the submission of the tender.
Develop and maintain the bid plan, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Coordinating the inputs and contributions from cross-functional teams, which include technical, sales, marketing, finance, legal and operations.
Develop and edit a bid to ensure there is consistency, accuracy and compliance with the client requirements and organizational standards.
Check and query the pricing model and how it is presented.
Liaise with clients to clarify the requirements needed throughout the bidding process.
Assess and mitigate the risks associated with the bid.
