    Regional Business Line Manager - PSD

    Your mission as a Regional Business Line Manager

    • In this role, your mission is to provide strategic and operational leadership to the Parts & Service Division (PSD), ensuring sustainable profitability, operational excellence, and superior customer value.
    • You will take full ownership of the P&L, shape strategic business plans, and guide your team to deliver exceptional service across all operations. Your mission is to build strong customer relationships, reinforce governance structures, and position Epiroc as the partner of choice in the mining industry.
    • You will champion safety, advance technical capability, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a diverse, high-performing team that reflects “The Epiroc Way.” As a key leader, you will develop future talent and strengthen collaboration across business lines.

    What you’ll do

    • Responsible for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for PSD operations in the Region.
    • Develop business plans, revenue forecasts, budgets, organization structure based on current fleet of capital equipment and expected addition over the next 3 years and manage PSD to achieve desired results.
    • Key drivers will be Customer Relationship Management and customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate with cross-functional teams and Regional Business Line Managers to deliver output.
    • Ensure that all safety related aspects are managed and adhered to in each area and all Epiroc's facilities of responsibility.
    • Oversee technical training and development of PSD team to provide tools and processes for excellent service
    • Manage and optimize performance of large service agreements together with a team of site managers.
    • Drive and manage local and regional team in a large matrix organization and ensure a team of high-performing and collaborative employees - by recruiting from a diverse pool and following Epiroc's recruiting practices and developing competencies of the team. Continuously improve gender diversity and employment equity in the region
    • Safeguard Epiroc's future through effective succession planning (grow second line of managers);
    • Ensure every team member is contributing in a positive way to the Company goals, and identify continuous improvement opportunities in team setup.
    • Work seamlessly with Capital equipment Regional BLMs so as promote Epiroc as a total solution.
    • Develop close relationships with all key stakeholders and drive Governance Structure formulated to meet customer at different levels at regular intervals.
    • Support the Epiroc Group's vision by contributing continuously to the Customer - Value and a Customer - Care driven culture
    • Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment in your domain including   Workplace, Workshops, Training Centre and Sites where we have Service Agreements. Ensure that "The Epiroc Way" & "Code of Conduct" is followed.
    • Re-inventing operational processes in alignment the South African Mining Charter.
    • The position requires frequent domestic and occasional overseas travel.

    What you’ll bring

    • Experience in surface and underground mining equipment with knowledge of products and applications
    • A proven record of accomplishment in aftermarket with a strong commercial knowledge.
    • Minimum 12+ years' work experience of which 3-4 years should have been in leadership managing people and delivering results 
    • Strong customer focus
    • Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure
    • University degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical /Electrical) is mandatory. An MBA would be advantageous.

    Who you are

    • Strong Negotiation skills
    • Strong business acumen/ Strategic thinking.
    • Good command of oral and written English. A flair for more than one of South Africa's official languages would be highly advantageous
    • Strong understanding of the South African and neighbouring countries mining culture with a verifiable network of industry contacts
    • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the legislation governing the South African mining industry as well as the Trade Union culture
    • Socially aware and able to work as part of a diverse team
    • Proficient in use of MS Office/Outlook/Excel
    • A self - motivated individual who is performance driven ·
    • Capacity to build good customer and ‘peer’ relationships.
      An outgoing team leader with a practical "hands-on" approach.

    Junior Accounting to Reporting Specialist (3 Month Contract)

    Mission of the role:

    • Ensuring quality Junior Accounting to Reporting service delivery to Customers and the Senior Accounting Specialist in sub-Saharan Africa supported by the Regional Centre of Excellence while continuously improving the processes and tools to ensure further efficiencies.

    Your mission:

    • Ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (A2R) services to the sub-Saharan organisations in line with
    • Service Level Agreements and the Epiroc Way as well as business requirements
    • Support the implementation of improvements to processes and tools in A2R
    • Assist with improving and implementing process alignment in the Region
    • Perform day to day activities
    • Continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working, while using digitization and Robotic
    • Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies
    • Participate in projects for the A2R Regional Centre of Excellence Team
    • Contribute to an excellent communication flow with stakeholders in the Region and relevant parts of the Global organisation
    • Ensure agreed procedures are maintained and adhered to within the team
    • You will be expected to carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of "The Epiroc Way"

    Your Profile:

    • 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment or accounting articles completion.
    • 2-5 years' experience in working in an A2R team in a multinational Shared Service organization will be an advantage.
    • Experience in an Industrial machinery and working experience with countries in Africa would be preferred.
    • Bank reconciliations experience working across various banks in Africa.
    • Forex exposure and working with different currencies
    • Intercompany reporting exposure and working closely with the Accounts payable team
    • Understanding of the Accounts receivable and Accounts payable process in a Multinational environment.
    • Entry level general ledger recons
    • Microsoft teams/SharePoint knowledge
    • Assistance with month end reporting
