Key Performance Areas

• Ensure the growth of the business through ongoing marketing, communication, and education of stakeholders.
• Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are adhered to in the acute i.e. patient and unit administration, CAPEX, equipment, budget planning, stock, waste, etc.

Requirements
Requirements and Experience

Minimum Requirements Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant SQL or data management certifications are advantageous.
• Certifications in AI, data science, or predictive analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, or equivalent) are beneficial.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SQL-based data integration, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
• Proven experience integrating systems at the data level and building reliable data pipelines.
• Experience working with sensitive or regulated data, particularly in healthcare, is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and complex SQL query development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable data integration solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage, ETL processes, and large dataset performance tuning.

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife or Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice)
• Experience in renal nursing is a strong recommendation.
• Capacity to implement and maintain health practice standards required by accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.
