Purpose Of The Job

• Responsible for ensuring that the Welcome Desk/Reception is effectively and efficiently managed at all times to provide members with a positive first impression and maximise member satisfaction.
• Willingness to conduct group exercise classes

Key Performance Areas Include

• Assisting with Club Administration when necessary
• Cash management
• Communication with members and staff
• Managing of Receptionist
• Monitoring of access and overrides for staff and members
• Reception stock control
• Resolving member complaints
• Training of Receptionist
• Experience & Competencies Required
• Ability to motivate staff and lead by example
• Advanced levels of administrative accuracy
• Display friendly and efficient qualities that reflect the Planet Fitness way
• Display uncompromising levels of honesty and integrity
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise at all levels
• Intermediate PC skills
• Must be able to work shifts
• Possess high level energy levels
• Previous experience within a front desk or welcome desk position added advantage
• Proven track record in managing staff, planning, organising, conflict handling and problem solving
• Have reliable transport

• Responsible of selling of Memberships and marketing of products, facilities and services and meeting with specific monthly new Member sales target as well as supporting general Member satisfaction and retention.
• Key Perfprmance Areas Include
• Strong foundation of Business to Business and Business to Client interaction
• Doing outreach events and promotions
• Finding prospects and making appointments
• Presenting our services and offerings
• Reaching daily, weekly and monthly targets
• Basic sales related administration
• Deliver superior member service
• Member retention

Experience And Competencies

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum 2 year’s sales experience (previous experience in Health & Fitness or Hospitality industry preferred)
• Great communication skills
• Willingness to work retail hours
• Reliable transport and own cellphone essential
• Computer literacy

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Personal Trainer at Planet Fitness in Pretoria and Johannesburg. The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing personal training sessions, circuit training, and sports coaching to help members reach their health and fitness goals on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in Personal Training and Circuit Training
• Sports Coaching abilities
• Certified Personal Trainer accreditation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Relevant degree or certificate in Sports Science or related field
