    Account Manager II

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve revenue targets.
    • Achieve activity levels as required for the BDM role.
    • Identifying new clients and new business opportunities, as the primary focus of this role.
    • Expanding the account base through proactive prospecting, networking and new logo acquisition.
    • Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
    • Analysing market trends, sales data and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments and opportunities.
    • Providing regular reports and updates to management on account performance, forecasts, and key metrics.
    • Effectively manage multiple sales opportunities

    Requirements

    • Be proficient in CRM software and other relevant tools for managing customer accounts, leads, opportunities and sales activities.
    • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a similar role.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
    • Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
    • Be able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple client sales deals effectively.
    • Legal, governance, risk and compliance experience would be advantageous

    Account Manager (Renewals)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in government accounts.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related activities, including inquiries, support, and service issues.
    • Identify opportunities for account growth by understanding client needs and aligning them with LexisNexis solutions.
    • Develop and implement strategies for retaining existing clients and minimizing churn.
    • Meet and exceed assigned growth targets and contribute to the overall revenue objectives of the Government Growth & Retention team.
    • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide clients with relevant insights and solutions.
    • Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and enhancements.
    • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to deliver outstanding service and solutions to clients.
    • Share best practices and insights with team members to drive overall team performance.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably within the legal, information solutions, or government sector.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to understand and articulate complex solutions to clients.
    • -Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

    Data Scientist III

    Responsibilities

    • Assembling, merging and parsing large amounts of data to detect meaningful trends and patterns.
    • Developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
    • Interpreting, documenting and successfully communicating analytic work and/or results to stakeholders, including those in non-analytic roles.
    • Analyzing and mining large amount of data using multiple analytic stacks such as Python, Linux, SQL etc.
    • Applying Machine Learning, Data Mining, and/or Statistical methods to build advanced models. Able to roll into production with senior guidance
    • Keeping the team’s priorities in mind when working independently

    Requirements

    • Have at minimum undergraduate in relevant field and 4+ relevant work experience. Or a master in a relevant field and 2+ of relevant work experience.
    • Have experience in relevant skills and software packages
    • Have fluency with presentation and document programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel
    • Have experience working with Big Data Technologies and applying large scale Machine Learning techniques within these technologies.
    • Have experience in building predictive models using Python, R or similar software package.

    Sales Head: New Sales

    Responsibilities

    • Developing revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensure delivery of targets.
    • Generating and sustaining new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings for assigned territories.
    • Implementing the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
    • Monitoring and pursuing opportunities in new markets and (report - Change to record) daily on progress on our CRM system.
    • Compiling and delivering quotes, proposals and tender documents.
    • Researching and remaining abreast of international / local comparative trends and product developments.
    • Developing marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the product/services in the local SA market and African markets.
    • Developing, implementing, and monitoring visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Have solid experience in similar position.
    • Experience in selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
    • Experience in selling governance, risk and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
    • Able to fully incorporate LexisNexis values into every aspect of work.
    • Have good judgment and integrative thinking, be a strategic thinker and results focused.
    • Be political savvy, patience, flexible and creative.
    • Have excellent customer relationship management skills.
