ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As an Artisan Boilermaker, you will be responsible for responsible for timely install, repair, fabricate and maintenance plant equipment and structures in a safe manner to ensure the process plant is operated safely as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, interpretation of hydraulic diagrams, planned and predictive maintenance;
• Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance on equipment;
• Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
• Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
• Ensure the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment.

ABOUT YOU:

• You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Qualified Artisan in a mining environment;
• Knowledge and experience on bucket and GET;
• Includes experience on fabricate and maintenance;
• Repair structural frames by development and fabricate from complex drawings;
• Mark off basic regular engineering shapes;
• Oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting/ gauging.

Qualifications for this role are:

• N2 Technical Certificate;
• Welder / Plater / Boilermaker Trade Test;
• Grade 12;
• Valid drivers license.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

• As a Day Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing operational support to Surface Operations with a key focus on Health, Safety and Legal compliance. You will also be responsible for the execution of improvement initiatives in your area of responsibility.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Enforcing compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and other company regulations. This includes conducting regular inspections and ensuring safe work procedures are followed

• Update operating standards, procedures, work instructions, control systems, and ensures critical controls are effective;
• Manage compliance-related documentation and records. Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to the superintendent and relevant authorities;
• Ensuring structural integrity by maintaining cleaning routines, replacing screens, and performing structural inspections;
• Initiate and manage personal and team-based technical projects to improve plant performance;
• Collaborate closely with the production team to execute on improvement initiatives;
• Design and lead plant trials to optimize performance. analysis

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in a mining environment;
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of production planning, production execution, and management systems;
• Proficiency working with SAP; Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

Qualifications for this role are:

• National Diploma in Engineering (Mining, Metallurgical, Chemical, Industrial);
• Valid drivers license.
