    HR Business Partner - Human Resource Department (Grade C5)

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expert HR policy advice, guidance, and interpretation to managers and employees.
    • Manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism, objectivity, and sensitivity.
    • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
    • Partner with leadership to strengthen working relationships, build morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
    • Lead integrated talent acquisition, performance, and workforce management solutions.
    • Provide full-spectrum employee lifecycle and performance support.
    • Deliver strategic and operational HR support from hire to exit.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree / Equivalent in Human Resources or related field
    • Valid unendorsed driver’s licence and own reliable transport
    • 5 – 7 years as an HR Generalist with strong Employee Relations experience
    • Experience in a unionised environment will be an advantage
    • Advanced computer literacy, including strong Excel capability

    A combination of the following skills, knowledge, and attributes is required:

    • Proficiency in HR information systems and time and attendance systems.
    • Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organisational and administrative capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

    Processing Technician - Specialised Products (Pinelands)

    Description

    • Vacancy exist for Processing Technician – Specialised Products (Paterson Grade B3)

    Main Purpose:

    • Processing of incoming blood into the various products; and performing general duties to ensure the smooth flow of work

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric Certificate (Maths/Maths Lit & Biology/Physics /Life Science)
    • Registration as a Trainee Medical Technician or Laboratory Assistant would be advantageous
    • Experience within the Specialised Products laboratory would be advantageous
    • Computer literate
    • The working hours are variable and shift work is required

    A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:

    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Have a friendly disposition and show keen interest in the work. 
    • A willingness to work as part of a team is essential
