• Ecowize is seeking a proactive and organised Operations and Systems Support professional to provide structured operational, systems, and administrative support across multiple sites in the Western Cape.
• This role ensures efficient workflows, adherence to processes, consistent service delivery, and continuous improvement, enabling management to confidently drive operational and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a central coordination point between management and operational teams, supporting SLA compliance and alignment with contractual and customer requirements.
• Attend and document weekly site meetings and monthly regional meetings, capturing action items and following up on progress.
• Monitor daily attendance, conduct weekly wage reviews, and provide insights linked to site income statements to drive cost efficiency.
• Promote correct and consistent use of operational systems (eWorkflow, PRP Honeycomb, PRP Buzz, iLeader) and ensure process compliance.
• Identify training needs, deliver hands-on support, and upskill operational teams to reinforce best practices.
• Apply LEAN principles to drive process, workflow, and system improvements, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) – Required
• Relevant tertiary qualification – Required
• Food Safety Certificate or Diploma – Advantageous
• Strong systems proficiency and analytical skills
• Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple sites, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively

Description

• The purpose of this role is to determine the best treatment regarding pest control and ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to the customer. 
• The Pest Control Technician must ensure that all services are planned and completed in line with the customer agreements signed.
• Be accountable and responsible for equipment and consumables used to complete the services.
• You will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.
• Then determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.
• Spray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
• Identify invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.
• Set mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination. 

Requirements

• Grade 12
• P-Registration with Department of Agriculture.
• Pest Control Operator experience essential.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
