    Essential Requirements

    • End-to-end delivery of fully-fledged commercial apps
    • Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
    • Strong understanding of design patterns & Object Oriented Programming
    • Solid knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
    • In-depth experience of working with RESTful APIs
    • Hands on experience with UI/Unit Testing (e.g. Espresso)
    • Solid knowledge of version control using Git and Gitflow
    • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborative tools (e.g. Jira)
    • Understanding of build processes and CI tooling (e.g. Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)

    Desirable

    • Knowledge of other related tech stacks, such as web or backend
    • Experience with the latest frameworks that Android has to offer (e.g. Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, Kotlin Coroutines, Jetpack Compose)
    • Experience with various Dependency Injection libraries (e.g. Koin, Dagger, Hilt)
    • Experience working with multi-module projects
    • Interest in line management

    UX/UI Designer

    The role:

    • You will be responsible for design delivery as well as looking after your design team. Working in a strategic partnership with the Head of Delivery and forging strong relationships with product managers and developers.

    What you’ll get to do

    • Create products that are used by millions of people around the globe to improve their financial decision making
    • Act as a vital link between Product, Engineering and Design.
    • Solve complex problems, humanise product ideas and develop these ideas through concepts and prototypes into beautiful and elegant application design
    • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to grow large strategic concepts through design exploration, ideation and user validation
    • Oversee the user experience of products from conception through launch as well as additional ongoing iterations
    • Present design solutions to stakeholders and company executives, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
    • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality

    Requirements
    What you bring to the role

    • 7-10 years of experience designing digital products that have been released to the market
    • Proven experience delivering end-to-end (from brief to shipping) digital products within a cross-functional team environment with an iterative approach that leverages quantitative and qualitative measurement
    • Ability to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and oversee the development process across different client platforms
    • Demonstrated ability to think at a high level about product strategy but also act–with speed and precision–to identify and deliver the tactical pieces that realise it
    • Thorough knowledge and experience across a range of design approaches, methodologies, including low and high fidelity prototyping skills
