As a Android Developer, you will

Help design and maintain software applications and help us pioneer our journey into new markets and beyond. You will often speak with customers to gather user requests for different features to improve speed, performance and usability. Software developers also conduct system tests, troubleshoot customer issues and correct software defects.

Other duties include project documentation, creating customer software manuals and developing prototypes for new software technologies.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• A curious, passionate, growth-oriented mindset.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Java and Android SDK
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
• High-level thinker, but also detail-oriented when executing on projects
• Emotional intelligence, empathy and ability to establish trusting and strong relationships
• Ability to work in a self-driven, complex environment with multiple and changing priorities
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Ability to think abstract
• Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and extend existing development activities
• Work with customers to determine project requirements
• Design software to fulfil customer requirements
• Develop software from requirements and specifications
• Find and repair software defects; unit testing, UI automation testing
• Stay current with Google and Android standards and guidelines

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• + 3 years native experience 
• OOP: 1 - 2 year
• Software Development: 1 - 2 year
• TDD: 1 - 2 year

USER INTERFACE DESIGNER

• User interface designers are versatile members of the team who are entrusted with creating innovative, simple and engaging interface solutions. You will play a critical role in conceptualising, designing and executing the visual and interactive experiences of an app, from the icon of the app through to the entire look and feel.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Interaction Design, or related fields
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to create and communicate relevant documentation pertaining to the user experience
• Ability to ‘sell’ your ideas and solutions to various stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• A good track record and portfolio of projects where you have performed a similar role
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user needs
• In depth understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices
• Ability to demonstrate interface interactions through prototypes
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure and able to take feedback openly
• Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude
• Proficiency in Sketch, Zeplin and Illustrator
• Innovative and self motivated

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create beautiful, engaging visual designs and interactive experiences
• Design wireframes and prototypes
• Maintain a product’s design aesthetic across multiple platforms
• Present and justify concept designs clearly and professionally
• Hand over designs to Engineers in a clean and organised manner
• Work closely with Product Leads and Engineers to ensure accuracy of final screens
• Stay on top of UI trends, industry techniques and developments in digital technologies
