Job Purpose

• To ensure machine availability at all times within the planned budget. To be accountable for the service and maintenance of machines in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Do machine set ups and planned maintenance.
• Daily walkthrough inspections.
• Morning inspections of plant to make running adjustments and check for lubrication and leaks.
• Preventative maintenance checks.
• Attend CFT activities.
• Apply 5S principles.
• Fabricate precision replacement parts.
• Must be adept at using measuring equipment e.g. micrometer, vernier etc.
• Perform standby duties.

Requirements

• Grade 12/N3 Certificate AND Trade Test Certificate.
• N4 – N6 engineering qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mechanical field on rotation machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics in a manufacturing environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the electrical field on rotation machinery.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the tyre manufacturing and automotive industry will be an advantage.

Job Purpose

• We are looking for an Inbound Coordinator that will be reporting into the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for managing the process of receiving and processing incoming materials, supplies, and products in a company or organization. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the logistics of inbound shipments, ensuring that products arrive on time and are properly documented and tracked throughout the receiving and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the logistics of shipping and transportation, including arranging for the loading and unloading of cargo and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order
• Managing the process from start to finish, including coordinating with other departments within the company as needed
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other partners involved in the process
• Monitoring and reporting on export activities and performance, including tracking sales, analyzing market trends, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for logistics.
• Managing and optimizing transportation costs, including negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
