    Artisan Electrician - UG Fixed Plant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and security policies and procedures.
    • Assign tasks to subordinates and contractors.
    • Plan activities according to production schedules and allocate resources.
    • Ensure electrical equipment and installations meet design and maintenance standards.
    • Conduct assessments of potential hazards in equipment operation.

    Risk and Permitting Officer

    Job Description:

    • A key focus area of the role is to ensure that Legal appointments are drafted, reviewed and submitted.
    • Another key focus area is to assist the operation with Legal implementation, managing the document control of critical business documents, data entry into SAP and placing orders with the Procurement Department for Venetia Mine

    The successful candidate will be required to:

    • Update and review of WRACs/JRA and PTO’s
    • Uploading of information to correct templates (JRA, PTO and procedures)
    • Assisting stakeholders with review of WRACs
    • Monthly reporting on risk registers and risk statuses
    • Prepare, review and issue appointment letters for employees in preparation for signature
    • Ensure all legal appointment letters align with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Obtain necessary approvals before issuing documents
    • Track and follow-up on acceptance and signing of appointments
    • Maintain a secure and organized database of all issued appointment letters.
    • Ensure proper filing both digital and physical copies for easy retrieval as well as for all legal correspondence/communication to different stakeholders.
    • Update records regularly to reflect new appointments, terminations and changes.
    • Assist in audits and compliance checks by providing necessary documentation
    • Respond to enquiries regarding appointment letters and related processes.
    • Develop and manage an up to date register of all legal appointments submitted to the DMRE, including proof of the transaction.
    • The recording, capturing and distribution of Meeting Minutes (Quarterly MHSC and S&SD Departmental Meetings; Monthly Supervisor Meeting and SHE Rep Meeting)
    • Maintains office stationery and consumable stock level
    • Places reservations and purchase requisitions to the Procurement department through SAP, including PPE
    • Provide support services for business processes and management systems. Jointly responsible for effective delivery of management systems and framework development, the effective delivery of management systems admin and support functions.
    • Utilise electronic management systems, such as Isometrix, ALIM to collate relevant S&SD Performance statistics and data
    • Conduct quality assurance on data received
    • Anticipate and Manage Risks related to S&SD performance reporting.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12/Std 10/N3 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification.

    Artisan Winder Electrician

    Job Description:

    • Contribute to a culture of zero harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation, health, safety, environmental, security policies, and procedures, and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion.
    • Responsible for winder control and electrical systems, including but not limited to: Compressor control and electrical systems, Shaft and shaft station control and electrical systems, Updating of all electrical documentation (drawings, equipment database and datasheets) & Switching and preventative maintenance tasks on MV equipment in accordance to policies and procedures.

    • This role is in the VUP Engineering department at a CL level reporting to the Senior Electrical Foreman.

    Qualifications:

    Formal qualifications:

    • MQA – Medium Voltage (MV) and winder competent

    Role-specific knowledge:

    • 5 Years continuous experience in electrical maintenance of which a minimum of 3 years must be winder and shaft related experience
    • Medium Voltage (MV) and Winder competent
    • Experience on ACS 6000 or similar drive systems would be preferred
    • Experience on Safety Integrity Level (SIL) rated installations would be preferred

    Manager: Risk & Security Governance

    Job Description:

    This role reports into Security Services Department

    • To ensure the effective management of risks through the application of a standardized risk management process and that the information derived from the risk management process is adequately reported and used as a basis for decision making and accountability at all relevant organisational levels.
    • To ensure compliance with the relevant risk management practices defined in the corporate governance guidelines.

    Qualifications:

    Senior Inport Planning Officer

    Job Description:

    • This role reports into the Inport Technical Support Lead.
    • The incumbent will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the planning and scheduling of the Scopes of Work executed by the In-port Shutdown Team to ensure effective management of projects.

    Your role will include:

    Financial Effectiveness

    • Participate in cost saving initiatives and adhere to financial procedures

    Project Planning Effectiveness

    • Create schedules according to Engineering and Projects Scopes of Works and the Work List Database
    • Integrates the schedule to identify the critical path and identify time opportunity and discuss them with the relevant Engineering Officers
    • Management of complex EPC and EPCM project schedules
    • Facilitate meetings with Engineering Officers and Project Engineers prior to Projects to finalize schedule.
    • Identify and communicate clashes in terms of work execution in the Project Plan
    • Capture any new discovery work that is loaded in the Works List Database and update Project plan throughout the project lifecycle

    Effective stakeholder management

    • Maintain cause and effect records in liaison with strategic stakeholders
    • Manage progress reporting against the schedule using earned value management techniques
    • Recommends delivery and sequencing strategies to key stakeholders with the overall aim of de-risking the schedule

    Qualifications:

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a planning and scheduling environment with at least 5 years’ experience in Marine Mining Industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suit
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (EVM templates, Pivot tables)
