The Financial Manager is accountable do deliver accurate and timely financial information from the point of transaction through to financial close. You will be required to produce key financial information, drive budgeting, forecasting and accurate reporting (Monthly, quarterly and annually).
Deliver accounting and financial controls, through effective, efficient and regulatory compliant finance Processes and in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Requirements:
CA (SA) with at least 2 years post article experience
Strong commercial skills with experience of financial analysis
Possess excellent data accuracy and analytical skills
Hyperion and Oracle experience advantageous & Advanced Excel skills.
Duties:
Responsible for all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Purchase Orders, Trade and Other Payable, Inventory, Fixed and Intangible Assets and account reconciliations for the Division (including Commercial, Manufacturing and Laboratory).
Ensuring compliance with the Group’s hedging policy and monitoring of effectiveness.
Manage month-end close process.
Prepare the monthly, quarterly and year-end operational finance dashboards, including cash flow statements, working capital balance monitoring, to enable management visibility to key operational finance metrics to enable business
To call on Pharmacies and promote Pharmaceutical and OTC Business Unit Products.
Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in Commerce and/or Science
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Pharmaceutical/FMCG Sales Representative
Knowledge of and experience in Independent and Corporate Pharmacy
Proven record in Self-medication and FMCG markets
Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
A valid driver’s licence and must have access to a vehicle.
