KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Best in class Commercial pricing and practises, including Marketing funds, payment terms, warranties, after sales and legal requirements, using global and local levers.
- Quarterly device portfolio planning with portfolio manager, based on insights (internal (CVM) and external sources) that is aligned with Segments, Sales, Customer Ops & Technology
- Volume mix that is aligned with the A&R budget, connection targets, supplier and platform strategy.
- Alignment with the Vodafone Global & Vodacom SA strategy
- Rolling 6 to 9 month device roadmap with key devices clearly identified and justification provided.
- On boarding of new suppliers
- Execute and shape the Vodafone Global Smartphone & Tablet strategy.
- Development of all required briefings and portfolio summary documents, including but not limited to (i) ranging rationale, (ii) target customer segments, (iii) device specification, (iv) customer proposition and (v) competitive landscape
- Secure Vodacom exclusives devices and offers from our suppliers
- Key input into S&OP to influence future campaign plans
- Manage the quarterly negotiations +/- 16 suppliers with Portfolio Managers and Terminals Management Team
- Monthly performance reviews with all suppliers
- Manage the monthly price books (trade and prepaid)
- Collaborate with VPC in terms of quarterly negotiations
